When you ask to be told about our next webinar, we collect your name and email address and, if you give it, your phone number. We use them only to tell you the date and topic of our next webinar. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Sensitive Personal Data
The data we collect may include sensitive Personal Data. If we do (e.g., special requirements for events), we will handle it with heightened care and only where permitted under applicable law.
4. How we collect Personal Data
We collect Personal Data:
- Directly from you (e.g., forms, emails, phone calls, event registrations, bookings).
- Automatically through cookies and similar technologies on our websites/landing pages (see Section 8).
- From third parties such as:
- event/booking providers you use to interact with us,
- social platforms where you engage with our content,
- publicly available sources (e.g., professional profiles),
- referral partners (only where they are permitted to share your details).
5. Why we use Personal Data and our lawful basis
We use Personal Data for the following purposes, relying on a lawful basis permitted under applicable UAE rules (e.g., to perform a contract, with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, and/or for legitimate interests, depending on context).
Purposes
- Provide and manage Services (e.g., scheduling, delivering consulting services, client onboarding, account/admin).
- Respond to inquiries and provide support.
- Send operational communications (e.g., confirmations, updates).
- Send marketing communications (newsletter, insights, invitations) where permitted and subject to opt-out/consent.
- Improve our Services (analytics, performance, content optimization).
- Security and fraud prevention (abuse detection, access control, incident response).
- Legal and compliance (record keeping, dispute handling, enforcing rights).
6. What we do NOT do
- We do NOT sell your Personal Data as a business model.
- We do NOT knowingly use Personal Data to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you, unless we clearly inform you and a lawful basis applies.
- Where we use analytics/advertising tools, we do not attempt to “re-identify” data that has been de-identified.
7. Who we share Personal Data with
We may share Personal Data with:
- Internal team members who need access to perform their job duties.
- Service providers (processors) such as hosting, email delivery, CRM, scheduling, document signing, analytics, IT support.
- Professional advisors (lawyers, auditors, consultants) under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities/third parties where required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers: If we undergo a restructuring, merger, or asset transfer, Personal Data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Booking, calls and messaging
- Our website runs on a server we rent from a hosting provider. What you enter in our webinar form is processed on that server and emailed to our company inbox.
- Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA) provides our booking calendar. The calendar loads automatically when you open the Book a call page or reach the booking step at the end of one of our questionnaires, because it is needed to book the call you ask for. When it loads, Calendly receives your IP address and sets its own cookies, and your data may be processed in the USA. If you prefer not to use Calendly, contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email instead. If you have completed one of our questionnaires, your name, email address and a summary of your answers are passed to Calendly, so that you do not need to enter them again. When you book a call, Calendly processes your booking details on our behalf.
- Zoom (Zoom Communications, Inc., USA) is the platform on which our video calls take place. Zoom processes your name, email address and the connection and usage data needed to hold the call.
- WhatsApp (part of Meta) processes your phone number, profile information and messages if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp. WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that processing.
These providers may process your Personal Data in the USA or in other countries outside the UAE (see International transfers below).
International transfers
Your Personal Data may be processed or stored outside the UAE (e.g., depending on where our vendors’ servers are located). Where cross-border transfers occur, we implement appropriate safeguards and contractual protections consistent with applicable requirements.
8. Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies
Our websites/landing pages may use cookies and similar technologies for:
- Essential functionality (security, load balancing, form submissions),
- Booking (the Calendly calendar, which loads when you reach a booking step and sets its own cookies; see Booking, calls and messaging above),
- Analytics (understanding website usage),
- Marketing/remarketing (showing relevant ads to prior visitors).
We use Google remarketing pixels/cookies to re-engage visitors and place ads on third-party websites; similar tools (e.g., Meta/Facebook pixels) may be used depending on the campaign configuration.
Your choices
- You can manage cookies via your browser settings and, where implemented, via our cookie preferences banner.
- You can opt out of certain advertising personalization via relevant provider settings (e.g., Google/Meta ad settings) and device controls.
9. Data retention
We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the data and our relationship (prospect vs. client vs. vendor).
We may retain certain records where needed to:
- comply with legal obligations,
- resolve disputes,
- enforce agreements,
- maintain secure audit trails.
10. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No system is 100% secure; however, we apply risk-based controls and vendor due diligence.
11. Children’s data
Our Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If you believe a child has provided Personal Data to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
12. Your rights and how to exercise them
Subject to applicable law and limited exceptions, you may request:
- Access to Personal Data we hold about you
- Correction/rectification of inaccurate data
- Deletion (where applicable)
- Restriction or objection to certain processing (where applicable)
- Withdrawal of consent (where processing is based on consent)
- Portability (where applicable and technically feasible)
To exercise rights, contact: hello [at] global-wealth.ae (Attn: Privacy).
We may request information to verify your identity before completing a request.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to raise a complaint with the competent authority under applicable UAE data protection rules.
13. Marketing communications
If you receive marketing emails from us, you can unsubscribe at any time by:
- using the unsubscribe link in the email, or
- emailing hello [at] global-wealth.ae with the subject line “Unsubscribe”.
We will still send essential service/transactional communications where necessary.
14. Third-party websites and social media
Our Services may link to third-party sites or platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We recommend reviewing those policies before submitting Personal Data to them.
